ALLEGED ATTACK ON WIFE
ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE. THE OTAHUHU CASE. (By Telegraoh—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 16. William Weir, aged 20, labourer, was charged in the Magistrates’ Court this morning with attempting to murder his wife at Otahuhu on January 14, and on the application of the police was remanded to appear tomorrow morning.
Some evidence of the wife was taken in hospital yesterday. No further evidence was taken from her today.
