U-BOATS ACTIVE
OFF UNITED STATES COAST SECOND SHIP SUNK. NOT FAR FROM LONG ISLAND. LONDON, January 16. An enemy submarine has sunk another ship off Long Island, close to die United States coast. The War Department, Washington, states that the ship was an Allied merchantman.
