BRITISH BOMBERS
STRONG FORCES ATTACK NAZI BASES LARGE FIRES LEFT BURNING. SIX AIRCRAFT MISSING. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY, January 16. An Air Ministry communique states: Last night Hamburg and Emden were again attacked by strong forces of aircraft of the Bomber Command. Large fires were left burning in both ports. Other objectives in north-west Germany and enemy aerodromes in the >Low Countries were also bombed. Six of our aircraft are missing.
