STATE THEATRE

A DOUBLE PROGRAMME. The State Theatre which makes a feature of mid-week double programmes, will tonight present two outstanding popular pictures. Each picture provides an interesting theme in which the acting is noticeable for its effectiveness. In “Jeannie,” the chief characters are taken by Virginia Gilmore and George Montgomery. It is a homely little picture about a woman who managed a difficult household, fought a valiant battle against a village tyrant and tried to teach a group of unhappy people just what fun living can be. In “Accent on Love,” there is presented a picture of exceptionally brilliant comedy played by some of the most noted actors and actresses known to the screen.
