FREE RUMANIA
EX-KING CAROL TAKING A HAND. WASHINGTON, January 6. Mexico City reports that ex-King Carol of Rumania, who is taking refuge there, has announced that he will go to New York in the middle of this month to establish a Free Rumania movement in view of the unlimited support by the Allies against the Axis. Mme. Lupescu, his companion, is to go with King Carol. The Danish Council in London has unanimously accepted the principles and purpose of the Atlantic Charter and has pledged the Free Danes throughout the world to fight against Hitlerism.
