According to the Berlin correspondent of the Stockholm newspaper “Social Demokaraten,” German military circles declare that the German armies in Russia have not yet reached their winter line. Indeed it is doubtful whether such a line can be established in view of the continued Russian offensive. The Berlin radio has admitted that since Christmas the Russians had ceaselessly attacked in waves on the Moscow front. It says the attacks were repulsed, but that the Russians managed at isolated points to break through the German lines in heavy snowstorms.
