CRICKET

GAMES DRAWN. FURTHER PLAY ABANDONED. Further play in the Wairarapa Cricket Association’s Possibles v. Probables senior and junior cricket matches, which commenced at the Masterton Park Oval yesterday, has been abandoned. On yesterday’s play, however, both games resulted in a draw. A fine 93 not out by B. Welch and the bowling of Stevens (Probables), who took four wickets for eleven runs were prominent features of play in the senior game.
