CANADIAN SHIPMENTS
SERVICES TO FAR EAST RESUMED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) OTTAWA, January 1. The Government announced permission to resume today Canadian shipments to Allied territories in the FarEast, particularly the Netherlands East Indies, Singapore, Timor, and Free China via Burma. The Government discontinued these shipments after Japan’s declaration of war.
