FIVE GERMANS ARRESTED. PROTECTION OF SUGAR INDUSTRY (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) HAVANA, December 31. Five Germans have been arrested on a charge of plotting to sabotage the 1942 sugar crop. Simultaneously special Army and police patrols have been detailed to guard the more important sugar mills and canefields, in view of possible incendiary attempts.
