FOR FRENCH LUXURY LINER.
TAKEN OVER AS AMERICAN NAVAL AUXILIARY.

The former French luxury liner Normandie is now being converted into a naval auxiliary, by direction of President Roosevelt. Today she was named the U.S.S. Lafayette.
