President Camacho, in a New Year broadcast, reaffirmed Mexico's pledge of Pan-American solidarity, urged Mexican's to work loyally for democracy’s cause and said the Government was pushing on with important strategic projects, such as airfields, harbours. highways, railways and oil pipelines.
