REGENT THEATRE
“THEY MET IN BOMBAY.” A romantic action drama lavishly produced with a colourful Oriental background “They Met in Bombay,” will be shown tonight. It is a film with unusual appeal and full of incident. It is certainly one .of the most outstanding pictures of its class ever brought to the screen and should not be missed by those who appreciate high class presentations. Clark Gable and Rosalind Russell are • the two principal players of the piece. Gable has a part in a vital story which gives ample rein to his characteristic talents, while Miss Russell is captivating as a smartly dressed adventuress whose brittle exterior wilts into sentimental adoration when she discovers that Gable is more than her match. The play is keenly devised to present both players in roles and surroundings unlike anything previously used. There is an excellent supporting programme. Sessions will be held tomorrow at 2.15 p.m. and 8 p.m. when “They Met in Bombay” will be, shown.
