BOY SCOUTS CAMP AT TAUHERENIKAU. (“Times-Age” Special.) Scoutmaster D. Carlyon and a troop of 17 Boy Scouts went into camp today at the Tauherenikau River for 10 days. Arrangements. A meeting was held in the Red Cross Society’s rooms last night when Dr. Sharp notified members of the Red Cross Society’s classes of the medical arrangements which had been made in case of emergency. Residents had been appointed to the committee as stretcher bearers and to the hospital kitchen. V,A,D,’s were appointed for duty at the casualty clearing station in the old District High School ■ building and also to the emergency hospital in the Town Hall. An air ambulance section has als<» been formed consisting of three trucks in charge of Red Cross Society’s transport. Personal Items. His many friends in Featherston will regret to hear of the death after a long illness of Mr F. W. Therkleson, of New Plymouth. Mrs C. J. Carlyon left today for New Plymouth to visit her sister, Mrs F. W. Therkleson. COSY THEATRE WEDNESDAY'S PROGRAMME.
