MASTERTON POST OFFICE
NEW YEAR ARRANGEMENTS. The following hours will be observed at the Masterton Post Office on January 1 and January 2:— Thursday.—The post office will be closed in all branches. No mails will be despatched and postmen’s deliveries will be suspended. The Stronvar and Bideford private bags will be delivered on Wednesday in lieu of January 1. The Tinui private bags and rural delivery will be despatched on Saturday. The telegraph office will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The telephone exchange will be open continuously. Friday: The post office will be closed in all branches. No mails will be despatched and postmen’s deliveries will be suspended. The Westmere rural, Te Wharau rurdl and private bags and the Tinui rural and private bags will be despatched on Saturday. The Homewood private bags will be despatched ’as usual. The telegraph office will be open from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and 7to 8 p.m. The telephone exchange will be open continuously.
