SWIMIMING
LIFE SAVING EXAMINATION.
SUCCESSFUL MASTERTON PUPILS. A particularly high standard was attained by all the competitors in land, water and theory work when a . life saving examination was held recently in the C. and A. baths, Masterton. The successful pupils were: —
Elementary: Margaret Prout, Heather Robertson, Dulcie Millar, Norma Kirk, Brian O’Hara Smith, Kenneth Teeboon, Geoffrey Jaine, David Garland.
Intermediate: Alison McFarlane, Dulcie Millar, Margaret Prout, Heather Robertson, Nonna Kirk. Kenneth Teeboon, Geoffrey Jaine, David Garland. Brian O’Hara Smith.
Bronze medallion: Ila McNeilage. Mary McPherson, Patricia Holmwood, Norma Ev.enden, Alison McPherson, Dulcie Millar, Kenneth Teeboon, Geoffrey Jaine. David Garland, Colleen Lusty. Bar to bronze medallion: Diane Shaw.

Miss Ngaire Dean had instructed several pupils in a manner which gave every satisfaction to the examiner, Miss Brenkley.
