WINNING SKIP & LEAD

In heavy hail and rain showers members of the Masterton Bowling Club participated 1 in a progressive pairs tournament on Saturday. Despite wet and windy conditions many interesting games were played. The tournament consisted of five games of 1.1, hours each and the winners and runners-up were:—

Skips: A. O. Jones 41 wins with 971 aggregate; runner-up, A. Hendry 41 * wins with 84 aggregate. Leads: R. Wearne 4 wins with 87 aggregate; runner-up, J. W. Lewis 4 wins with 86 aggregate. Results additional to those published on Saturday are: —

PARK CLUB. PAIRS TOURNAMENT. The Park Bowling Club held a pairs tournament in windy and showery weather on Saturday afternoon. Messrs Christie (leads) and Simpson (skips) were the winners.
