The efforts of progressive American police officers to reach the hearts of tough kids before they become lawbreakers is the theme of “Mob Town,’ which will be shown tonight.. “Mob Town” stars the Dead End Kids and Little Tough Guys with Anne Gwynne and Dick Foran. Foran, as the earnest, warm-hearted officer, shares romantic honours with Miss Gwynne.
Excitement, comedy and novelty combine to provide a full measure in “Raiders of the Desert,” the associate feature. This picture features Arlen, Andy Devine and Linda Hayes. On Monday there will be shown “Burma Convoy, 1 ’ featuring Charles Bickford and Evelyn Ankers, and “Henry Aldrich For President,” m which Jimmy Lydon and June Priesser take the leading roles..
