BIG ENEMY SHIP
-T DESTROYED AFTER LONG CHASE. TORPEDOED BY BEAUFORT BOMBER. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) RUGBY, December 25. An Air communique states that on Wednesday afternoon, a Beaufort aircraft of the Coastal Command torpedoed a large enemy fleet auxiliary. This tanker had been continuously pursued and attacked by aircraft of the Coastal Command for over thirty hours.
