CRASH IN OTAGO
AIRCRAFTMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED. CAUSE OF ACCIDENT OBSCURE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. This morning, at 7.50, an Air Force plane crashed at Momona, nine miles south of Taieri (Otago). The sole occupant, an airman pilot under training, was seriously injured and was admitted to the Dunedin Public Hospital. The cause of the accident is obscure. The occupant of the lane was Leading Aircraftman Lionel Oscar Edwards. His father is Mr L. E. B. Edwards, Christchurch.
