SPRINT WON BY WINGS OF SONG.

Despite the sudden restrictions imposed on road traffic, the summer meeting of the Otaki Maori Racing Club held on Saturday proved very successful. Some of the fields were thinned as a result of horses being unable to get transport to the course, none of the Opaki horses being present, but the the racing was good. The weather was fine and hot and the track fast; in fact, the times recorded in most of the races were practically track records. There was a good attendance, «end the totalisator turnover showed an increase of £1962 10s on last year, the respective totals being £18,113 on Saturday and £16,150 10s
