CAMOUFLAGE NETS

URGENTLY REQUIRED.

NEW INDUSTRY FOR MASTERTON

For some time past the Girl Guides and Boy Scouts throughout New Zealand have been making camouflage nets for Army requirements. Instructions have been received from Headquarters to expedite the manufacture of these nets. In consequence a shop in Queen Street has been made available by the C. E. Daniell estate, and this is being fitted out by them in every way possible so that manufacture may be increased. These premises are under the control of the local Girl Guides’ Association and as from today work is being carried on continuously by the girls. As the camouflage nets are now urgently required the District Commissioner for the Girl Guides (Mrs A. W. McKenzie) will be pleased to have the assistance of any adults who are proficient in the manufacture of netting.
