MOTOR TIRES & TUBES.
CONSERVATION OF STOCKS.

The Minister of Supply and Munitions, Mr Sullivan, announced last night that it had been decided to control the sale of all motor tires and tubes throughout the Dominion as from today, Monday, December 15, pursuant to a notice issued under the Supply Control Emergency Regulations, 1939, Amendment No. 1. Henceforward no motor tires or tubes may be removed, sold or otherwise disposed of except with the consent of or by the direction of the Secretary of Supply, and it is incumbent on all persons and firms holding stocks of motor tires and tubes to forward immediately to the Secretary of Supply full particulars of 'such stocks. - "This action has been taken,” said the Minister, “to ensure that our available stocks of motor tires and tubes 'are conserved for the most essential 'purposes and the co-operation is sought from all tire dealers and others concerned in the matter of furnishing the requiredl returns by the earliest mail.
