SHIP DESERTION

TWO MEN BEFORE COURT. Two men, William Sneddon and Charles Hatherell, appeared before Mr H. E. Pither, J.P., in the Masterton Magistrate’s Court on Saturday on a charge of ship desertion. They surrendered themselves to the police on Saturday morning. A remand was granted to Wellington, where they will appear today.
