■ INTER-CLUB MATCHES. MASTERTON v FEATHERSTON. (“Times-Age” Special.) At Featherston yesterday inter-club handicap matches were played between Masterton and Featherston clubs. The results were as follows, Masterton players being mentioned first in each case:—Doubles: Mesdames Donnelly and Polson defeated Mesdames Saunders and Alan Donald, 26/10; Mesdames Bassett and Finlayson lost to Hyland and O’Neal, 3/26. Singles: Mrs Polson lost to Mrs Saunders, 23/26; Mrs Bassett lost to Mrs Hyland, 23/26; Mrs Donnelly lost to Mrs O’Neal, 0/26; Mrs Finlayson lost to Mrs Donald, 16/26.
