An enemy bomber was shot down by our fighters this morning, off the north-east coast of England. A coastal district in this part of the country had small-scale raids last night. There were some casualties. NAZI SUPPLY SHIP ATTACKED BY BRITISH BOMBERS. ONE VESSEL LEFT ON FIRE. LONDON, December 9. A large enemy supply ship, escorted by patrol vessels, was attacked by British aircraft off the Dutch coast. It was hit and left on fire. Another supply ship was bombed off the Norwegian coast.
