REGENT THEATRE
“WATERLOO BRIDGE.” The outstanding dramatic picture, “Waterloo Bridge,” will be finally shown tonight. “MOONLIGHT SONATA.” The change of programme at the Regent Theatre tomorrow night provides entertainment of an outstanding chaiacter The picture “Moonlight Sonata” is a brilliant presentation containing everything that goes to make the type of entertainment patrons appreciate. The beauty of the music and the magnificence of the settings are 'features rarely seen on the screen. Elaborate sets are in evidence throughout the film and the acting is of a standard rarely achieved in moving pictures. There is not a dull moment in “Moonlight Sonata,” the interest being maintained by the all-round brilliance of the many changing scenes Even the most discriminating picture patron wilLfind it a very difficult matter to find a loophole for criticism and must accord it the distinction of being something much ■above the usual run of such presentations “Moonlight Sonata” is one of the most beautiful pictures ever filmed, and depicts the 'great Paderewski, at his best in never-forgettable musical presentations. He plays Beethovens “Moonlight Sonata” in a masterly manner that will thrill the audience. Dame Marie Tempest, the world-fam-ous actress, is also starred in the picture There will be a special school matinee at 3.15 p.m. on Thursday as well as the usual matinee at 2.15 p.m. on Wednesday.
