CENTRE OF GOTHENBURG RIOT. BIG CROWD TRIES TO PREVENT ARREST. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) STOCKHOLM, November 30. A British seaman was the central figure in a riot in Gothenburg when a crowd of 1500 people attempted to prevent his arrest for disorderly conduct. The police were finally forced to charge, the crowd with swords. A number were taken to hospital.
