CALF COMPETITIONS KAHUTARA RESULTS. The children of the Kahutara School held their annual gathering on Saturday when there was a good attendance of settlers and children. There were produce, cake and soft drink stalls. The entries in the calf and lamb competitions were judged. The judging competitions resulted:—Sheep, Mr Duffy; pig, Mr Fluty. During the afternoon the children gave an exhibition of folk dancing. The lamb and calf competitions resulted as follows:— Calves.—Grade dairy type: M. Ness 1, Joan Siemonek 2, Don Sutherland 3. Second section: J. Nikolaison 1, L. Warrington 2. COSY, FEATHERSTON TOMORROW. “The Great Dictator,” with Charlie Chaplin, Paulette Goddard and Jack Oakie will be shown tomorrow night. The greatest satirical comedy ever screened. No person who sees it can fail to be rocked with laughter. Chaplin portrays “The Great Dictator” in the spirit of comedy and denunciation.
