WITH THE UNITED STATES Decision of Japanese Cabinet DESPITE GREAT DIFFERENCES IN VIEWPOINT REPORTED FLEET MOVEMENT (By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 11.5 a.in.) TOK 10, December 1. The Associated Press of America states that the Domei agency said today that Cabinet had decided to continue the negotiations with the United States, “despite the great differences in viewpoints.” A Manila message says the*United Press states that informed circles said today that the Japanese fleet, headed by sixteen heavy cruisers and some aircraft carriers, is believed to be in the vicinity of the southern Japanese mandated islands, within easy striking distance of British Borneo. Military reports estimated that 100,000 Japanese troops are now in Indo-China. Reinforcements are arriving constantly.
