COSY THEATRE
“THE . FACE BEHIND THE MASK.” The two splendid pictures, “The Face Behind the Mask” and “Constantinople Express,” will be finally snown tonight. “GAY VAGABOND.” There will be a splendid double feature programme at the Cosy Theatre tomorrow night when an entertaining combination of comedy and fast-moving action will be presented. The first picture is “Gay Vagabond,” a delightful farce in which Roscoe Karns plays the part of a downtrodden husband who unexpectedly rebels against his wife’s tyranny and is precipitated into a series of hiluarious adventures, all of which are seasoned with crisp and salty dialogue. He is ably assisted by Ernest Truex, Ruth Donnelly, and Margaret Hamilton, all of whom are responsible for entertaining characterisations which help to maintain the lively pace of the comedy. The associate picture is _ “Convoy,” a stirring drama, featuring _ Clive Brook and John Clements. This is a magnificent picture of vital and courageous service.
