FERTILISER RATIONING
STATUS OF RECENT PURCHASES.
A point of general interest has been raised with reference to the status under the fertiliser rationing scheme of an individual who purchases a property during the period when the rationing scheme is operation, states Mr N. Lamont, chairman of the Masterton Fertiliser Committee.
It has been decided as a principle that a purchaser in such circumstances will simply take over the fertiliser allowance to which the previous owner is entitled. Some consideration has been given to cases where farms were purchased just before rationing was introduced but now that the scheme is operating the buyer of a farm cannot under any circumstances, expect extra fertiliser rover that allowable to the previous occuper.
