PROGRESS OF MASTERTON CAMPAIGN DAY TO DAY BAROMETER. WEEKLY QUOTA £784. Progress of the National Savings campaign in Masterton is indicated from day to day by the barometer set out below: —

Reading taken 10 a.m. daily. Saturday’s receipts were £56, making the week’s total £949, giving a carryover in excess of the quota of £784, of £165. This means that this week’s investments are credited at the outset with £165.

The total number of National Savings accounts opened in Masterton to date is 2153. Sixty-six groups have been formed, with a membership of 787. The two latest groups' are those of Messrs Bullick : Blackmore, Ltd., and the Wairarapa College teaching staff.
