The previous best week was 90 towns. The champion towns, those that have flown their flags for six weeks in succession, are:—New Plymouth, Hawera, Ashburton, Hawarden, Kaikoura, Fairlie, Hunterville, Mayfield, Taihape, Te Anga, Urenui and Weber. The runners up (five weeks in succession) are:—Blenheim, Aramoho, Awakino, Cambridge, Huntly, Little River, Marton, Mokau, Ohingaiti, Pongaroa, Takaka, Turua, Waikaia. The call from the desert is not to go unanswered.
