At Martinsburg, Virginia, Trammell Hollis, Senr.. a garageman, suffered concussion, cuts and bruises when the brakes of his car failed to hold, and he crashed into another vehicle. So he published this newspaper advertisement: “Take my advice—have your brakes adjusted at once! I know whereof I speak. Trammell Hollis. Present address—City Hospital.”
