PUT DOWN BY GERMAN TROOPS SENSATIONAL REPORTS FROM ZURICH. RECALL OF TROOPS FROM LIBYA DEMANDED. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) NEW YORK, November 27. Sensational reports from Zurich that German troops had turned machine-guns on Italian crowds demonstrating in the Piazza Venezia for the recall of the Italian troops from Libya are printed in the New York “Post.” Nazi soldiers, it is stated, broke up a number of meetings, and riots occurred. The Stockholm correspondent of the British United Press, confirming the report of the riots in Copenhagen, states that Germans made 40 arrests.
