The seconds rushed into the ring and, after much struggling, the boxers were separated. Early in the thirteenth round, Hcnneberry was cautioned for refusing to break. His head came up several limes, and the referee promptly declared Richards the winner. Henneberry declined to recognise the referee’s action-and sought to continue. Henneberry was but a shadow of his past greatness and did not win a round.
