OBITUARY
MRS J. A. DONALD. The friends of Mr J. A. Donald will regret to learn of the death of his wife, which occurred at her home this morning. The late Mrs Donald had been in failing health for some months and her death was not unexpected. Mrs Donald was born at Girdleness, Scotland, in 1869 and came to New Zealand in 1883. She was of a quiet, retiring disposition but her cheerful, Uncomplaining nature and quiet sense of humour endeared her to all who knew her. She leaves a husband and a family of four daughters, Misses Margaret, Constance, Ivie and Elsie Donald to mourn their loss. Mr W. N. Greig is a brother, and Mrs Dolby, of New Plymouth, is a sister. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon leaving the late residence following a service at 2.30 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
