WAIRARAPA COLLEGE
DISPLAY OF WORK TOMORROW. ‘An invitation is extended to the public to visit the Wairarap'a College tomorrow evening in order to see the annual display of work. The workshops will probably.be the chief centre of interest. There, on display, will be many objects and articles made of wood and metal. The actual manufacturing process is interesting, too, appealing to the casual observer as well as to the craftsman. On the opposite side of the College is to be found the Home Science building, with its kitchens, laundry, and model flat, where girls have the opportunity of learning housecraft under ideal conditions. The arts and crafts rooms, too, should draw appreciative crowds. No visitor should fail to visit the library of which the College is proud. The only part of the' College buildings that will not be thrown open to the public free of charge will be the Assembly Hall. In the hall, at 8.30 o’clock, there will be held a short concert, for which a small charge will be made to assist school funds.
