PROPOSALS IN AUSTRALIA. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.20 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Federal Government intends to introduce a scheme of pensions for widows, unemployment insurance and is planning authority for housing as soon as possible after Parliament meets in the New Year. Announcing this, the Minister of Health and Social Services, Mr Holloway, said the widows’ pensions would be on the same basis as the old age and invalidity pensions;
