The Warwick Farm races were held at Randwick yesterday, when the principal races resulted as follows: — Warwick November Handicap, lijm. and 27yds.: Aristocrat, 7.8 (W. Cook), 1; Serenata (N.Z.), 8.1 (E. Bartie), 2; Breeze, 6.10 (A. Podmore), 3. Six started. Half-length; two. Time, 2.4. Horsley Handicap, 6f. and 17yds.: Radical, 8.5 (E. Bartie), 1; Henchman, 8.1 (Terrill), 2; The Miller, 8.0 (G. Young), 3. Fifteen started. Neck; half-neck. Time, 1.11. The New Zealander, Foxsen, was unplaced in the Leumeah Handicap.
VICTORIA TURF CLUB WIN FOR LUCRATIVE. PIONEER SUCCESSFUL. MELBOURNE, November 23. At the V.A.T.C. races at Flemington yesterday the main races resulted as follows:—Eclipse Stakes, l{-m.: Lucrative, 9.3 (Purtell), 1; High Road, 7.9 (Ralph), 2; El Golea, 8.12 (Creighton), 3. Eleven started. Two lengths and a half; halflength. Time, 2.32 A. Rosstown Plate, 6f.: All Veil, 9.9 (Badger), 1; Orteli, 7.12 (Mornement), 2; Orcadian, 7.4 (Percival), 3. Fifteen started. One length and a quarter; length and three-quarters. Time, 1.12-1. The New Zealander Pioneer won the Maiden Two-year-old Handicap, of five furlongs. Pioneer is one of the three horses taken to Victoria recently by H. Griffith, Hastings, for' Mr F. C. Christie, and is a brown colt by Paper Money from Mudlark. He was at an outside quote for Saturday’s race at Flemington.
