MAURICEVILLE

PLUNKET SOCIETY MEETING OF SUB-BRANCH. (“Times-Age” Special.) A meeting of the Mauriceville District sub-branch of the Plunket Society was held on Saturday afternoon at the residence of Mrs C. R. Judd, Ihuraua. Mrs R. Miller presided over a small attendance several apologies for absence being received. Mrs Miller gave an interesting report on her visit to the Plunket conference held in Wellington last month. It was decided to have a small ‘‘bring and buy” stall at each meeting in future. The hope was expressed that new members and young mothers would attend the February meeting at Mauriceville. The payment of £2O to the Masterton branch towards the nurse’s salary was confirmed.

Afternoon tea was served and a hearty vote of thanks to the hostess closed the meeting.
