BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN SUNK IN PACIFIC PROBABLY BY A RAIDER. AMERICAN NAVAL HUNT. BALBOA, November 17. Rear-Admiral F. H. Sadler, Commandant of the 15th Naval District, announced that the Yugoslav freighter Olga Topic, 4375 tons, has been attacked, and is believed to have been sunk in the Pacific, probably by a raider. United States naval and air forces are reported to be searching for a German raider following the attack on the Olga Topic. Rear-Admiral Sadler said: “If a raider is operating within 600 miles of the Panama Canal it will not operate there long.”
