INTERESTING LECTURE. DELIVERED BY DR. PRIOR. A large audience greeted Dr. N. H. Prior at his lecture at the Bannister Street Hall last evening to hear his address on “Anatomy.” Dr. Prior has a most happy manner of combining instruction and humour and his address, proved most informative and entertaining. In introducing the speakei’ Mr Clemas (president) remarked that accuracy of line and beauty of contour were necessary fundamentals of every worthwhile figure study, although some of the old masters had slipped even in these respects. In the course of his address Dr. Prior dealt fully with the human frame illustrating his lecture with blackboard drawings. Dr. Prior described muscle formations and the building up of the 'perfect body. At the close of the address a hearty vote of thanks to Dr. Prior was moved by Mr S. B. McLennan and carried byacclamation. Notice was given that the club would meet again on November 20 for criticism. and finalising arrangements inconnection with the forthcoming exhibition.
