COAL COMMISSION

RECONSTITUTION PROPOSED IN AUSTRALIA. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. Following upon representations by coal miners’ officials and the coalfields Parliamentary representatives, the Prime Minister, Mr J. W. Curtin, _ announced his intention to reconstitute the Coal Commission, which originally consisted of the chairman, Mr Mighell. The commission will now comprise three members, two being representatives of the miners and mine-owners, respectively, with probably Mr Mighell as chairman.
