ARMS SCANDAL
ILLICIT TRAFFIC WITH NAZIS ALLEGED IN TURKEY. CHARGES AGAINST RETIRINGMINISTERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, November 13. The resignation of the Turkish War Minister and the Transport Minister may lead to the exposure of a scandal arising from an illicit arms traffic with Germany. A Turkish steamer, which it is believed was torpedoed, is said to have carried a cargo of explosives. Some reports suggest that President Inonu may be replaced.
