NEW ANTI-TANK RIFLE. RUSSIANS GETTING GOOD RESULTS. (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, November 13. The'“Red Star” says Soviet units are beginning to receive a new anti-tank rifle in increasing quantities. It narrates how, on the Mojaisk front, a Red Army anti-tank rifleman 430 yards from a road fired against one of several advancing tanks. The bullets pierced the turret and evidently hit a shell, for the turret was blown clean off. The remainder of the tanks turned back. The “Pravda” stated that particu-
larly intense fighting has developed in the Kerch area, where the Soviet troops, air force and navy, by joint action, repelled attacks. The Germans were also unsuccessful near Sebastopol,- where they failed to break through to the city, despite a bombardment and tank attacks.
