PARK CLUB TEAMS FOR CENTRE FIXTURES. KEETLEY MEDALS CHALLENGE SUCCESSFUL. The following teams have been chosen to represent the Park Club against the Masterton Club in the Wairarapa Bowling Centre fixtures on Saturday: —Booth Cup: C. Leigh, R. Jenkins, E. Burke, R. Simpson (s); P. Trevorrow, B. Braggins, R. Wallace, H. Smith (s). Centre Shield: W. Davis, S. Lee, H. Thompson, J. Shearer (s). Last evening S. Lee and A. Kilgour (s) were successful in their challenge for the Keetley Medals, defeating G. Brown and H. Smith (s), 18-17, after a very evenly contested game. On the 19th end Kilgour scored 5, giving him a lead of one, and on the last end Smith required 2 in order to retain the trophy, but although he held the shot he just missed on the measure for second. The majority of the heads were very compact, and repeatedly the fortunes of the game changed with the playing of each successive bowl. MASTERTON.CLUB RINKS SELECTED. FOR SATURDAY’S COMPETITIONS. The following rinks have been selected to represent the Masterton Bowling Club in the Booth Cup and Shield games on Saturday against Park, on the Park green, play to commence at 1.45 p.m.:— Booth Cup.—J. Campbell, A. Chapman, W. Hendry, H. Morton (s.); W. Reid, J. Finlayson, G. Hayne, W. Christian (s.). Shield. —C. Greenwood, M. Reid, J. Hunter, A. O. Jones (s.). Any player unable to take part in the competitions is asked to notify the selector, Mr A. Stubbings, as early as possible. ,
