INVITATION TO FUNERAL OF HITLER. PASSED FROM HAND TO HAND. The following broadside has reached London from France. It is passed from hand to hand in France, and is printed in the form of a notification of decease such as families send out to friends when there is a bereavement: “Marshal Goering, close friend of the deceased; M. Pierre Laval, his brother in Nazism; M. Himmler, his brother-in-law; MM. Flandin, Deat, Doriot, his friends; and MM. de la Roque, Dorgere, Debeauvais, his pupils, have the deepest regreV’ in having to inform you of the keenly-desired and happily irreparable loss of their Fuehrer, who has so completely disgusted us, and therefore beg you to attend the funeral of Herr Adolphe Hitler, Grand Knight of Vital Space, Grand Master of the Order of the Gab, decorated with the Order of the Salt Bath, who died following losing his footing in the Channel. “Funeral service will be sung by the celebrated macaroni choir, under the direction of their illustrious chief, Benito Mussolini, who will conduct ‘The Flight from Albania’ and ‘The Retreat in Africa.’ “At the end of the ceremony there will be a grand march past, led by Mr Churchill and General de Gaulle. “No flowers will be accepted. Dancing and singing will be permitted and encouraged. “P.S. —We hope soon to inform you of the decease of his friends."
