OF PULSES FROM NEW ZEALAND & TASMANIA. NOT AFFECTED BY LEASE-LEND ACT. (By Telegraph— Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.5 p.m.) LONDON, November 11. The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food, Major Lloyd George, replying to a question in the house of Commons, said the Lease-Lend Act would not adversely affect the United Kingdom’s purchases of pulses (seeds of leguminous plants) from New Zealand and Tasmania.
