The suspect, arrested on Saturday in connection with the recent handbag robbery in Victoria Street, Victor George Mosen, aged 21, a labourer, appeared at the Police Court, charged with robbing Colin Jackson of a bag containing cash and cheques to the value of £048; also with using personal violence to Jackson. On the application of the police accused was remanded till November 17.
