STREET ROBBERY
ACCUSED MAN IN COURT IN AUCKLAND CHARGED WITH THEFT & USING VIOLENCE. POLICE SECURE REMAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The suspect, arrested on Saturday in connection with the recent handbag robbery in Victoria Street, Victor George Mosen, aged 21, a labourer, appeared at the Police Court, charged with robbing Colin Jackson of a bag containing cash and cheques to the value of £048; also with using personal violence to Jackson. On the application of the police accused was remanded till November 17.
